The February issue of W is out and I’m a little conflicted about one of their photo spreads in the issue. The photography by Steven Klein, begins on page 206, and features varying stages of nudity.

Okay, so nudity isn’t really something new but designer Stefano Gabbana in high heels and navy Dolce & Gabbana underwear? Domenico Dolce, the other half of the famous design team, appears on the following page wearing dark boots or socks and nothing else. Other nudes in provocative poses appear on subsequent pages along with more of Gabbana and Dolce.

Photographer Juergen Teller steps into the ring with the odd and abstract beginning on page 238, photographing models in various state of undress in designs by top designers Giorgio Armani, Versace, Donna Karan, Louis Vuitton and others. The stylings, by Camilla Nickerson, are too outrageous to appear in public but that may not stop headline-hungry celebrities.

On the plus side, Hollywood star Nicole Kidman is featured on this month’s cover along with co-star Daniel Craig. What a beauty she is! And he’s not so bad himself.
