Supposedly this year is going to be the hottest on record. We haven’t had enough resources to deal with the power drain during past heat waves. If temperatures do go as high as projected, I don’t look forward to the blackouts and brownouts we’ll experience. It’ll really focus on just how dependent we are on electricity. And how miserable it can be when the lights go out.
